My passion for filmmaking started in middle school when I ambitiously set out to teach myself Adobe After Effects (a complex and industry-grade editing software) to create entertaining videos for my family and friends. From there, I expanded my skillset by learning other industry-standard software like Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, and have recently enhanced my skills through a Digital Filmmaking class in London. Over the years, I’ve improved with each project, refining both my technical abilities and my creative storytelling, but with the same goal of creating entertaining content for others.
Notable Projects
Spikeball Promotional Video
I filmed a short video for Spikeball which is featured on their official Instagram, garnering 190,000 views (Watch here)
Lake Resort Showcase Video
I shot and edited a video for a lake resort which involved multiple days of planning and filming on location
Social Media Content for Santa Clara University
I film videos for the SCU outdoors club and ski club to promote their activities
Some of the videos have been featured on the official SCU Instagram (Watch here)
Personal Content
I've created a wide variety of videos for my personal enjoyment; including travel films, engineering tutorials, and silly skits with friends and family (including a full length parody of the Great British Bake-Off!) (Watch here)
Through these projects, I’ve gained expertise in filming techniques, editing workflows, and creative storytelling. My ability to independently handle both the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking allows me to produce entertaining content, whether it’s for personal projects or professional promotional videos.
